About Event
🚗💨 DRIFT the Wet Skid Pan at Sydney Motorsport Park!
Experience the thrill of drifting at Beginner DRIFT – the ultimate event designed for newcomers aged 12 years and up. Perfect for anyone eager to learn the art of drifting in a safe, controlled environment.
What’s Included with a Driver Entry:
✅ Entry for one driver.
👥 Entry for a passenger (bring a buddy!).
🎟️ Event licence included.
Car Requirements:
🚘 Rear-wheel drive vehicle.
⚙️ Manual transmission is highly recommended.
🛑 A working handbrake is essential for drift maneuvers.
Driver Requirements:
🧥Non-flammable clothing (Nylon not accepted).
👖Clothes must cover you from neck to wrists to ankles. (Long sleeve shirt, and long pants)
🥾Enclosed shoes with socks must be worn.
🪖Helmets need to have the at least one of the following sticker of approval; FIA 8860-2018, FIA8860-2018-ABP, FIA 8860-2010, FIA 8860-2004, AS1698, ECE 22-03-06, SFI 24.1, BS 6658-85 A/FR, Snell SA2005 – SA/H2010 and Snell M2000 – M2022.
Skills You’ll Learn:
🔄 Doughnuts – Master the perfect circular drift.
8️⃣ Figure 8s – Learn precision control and linking manoeuvres.
↩️ J-turns – Execute sharp, controlled turns with style.
